“Was a nice place. A little noisy with the owners staying in the main house on top with dogs.”

“The lake and the view were absolutely beautiful. Kayaks, a boat and canoe were provided with life jackets. Weather was unseasonably cold during the nights and mornings. House does not have a heating system but there were plenty of blankets and comforters. Fire pit was such a nice addition for the evenings. Hope to revisit in the future ”

“In general we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues that keep it from getting five stars: 1) Lighting needs improvement. It's quite dim, especially in the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. There are under-cabinet lights in the kitchen but they seem to have a mind of their own and we couldn't find a way to have them stay on. The bathroom needs a light over the sink. 2) There is a noticeable musty smell, as is common with basement space; there are dehumidifiers running so this might……

“We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!”

“My partner and our kids stayed over during the holidays. I grew up in the area and we were back visiting family. It was very nice to have our own space close to family. Beds were comfy. Couch was massive and inviting. Kitchen was big. Wish it was warm enough to have enjoyed the backyard but all good. Street parking wasn’t an issue, many spaces free. ”

“We had a fantastic Thanksgiving break at this rental home with six families, including kids ranging from middle schoolers to toddlers. The house was spacious, with plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate everyone. We particularly enjoyed cooking meals together in the well-equipped kitchen and spending quality time in the cozy common areas.
