The front desk attendants were very kind and courteous, but our hotel rooms were not very clean. The curtain in our first room had a substantial tear and the beds had a hair and crumbs in the sheets, and the floors appeared to be unswept. The clerk kindly moved us to a different room. The second room floors were obviously not swept either, (crumbs and Cheetos on the floor, along with dirt and pebbles). The beds, although comfortable, did not seem fresh either...more crumbs in the sheets, plus one of the beds only had a fitted sheet. (We requested and received clean, crisp sheets.) We borrowed a broom from the front desk clerk and swept the bathroom and entire room. We also ran to the local Family Dollar store and purchased some cleaning supplies and ended up wiping down the entire bathroom as well. There were some long hairs and dirt on the floor and in the corners in there. In addition, upon arriving there, we were informed that the beautiful swimming pool on the website photos was out of commission, although the website we saw and used didn't mention anything about the pool being broken. From what we could see of the pool, it appeared to have been out of commission for quite a long time, although the signs in the hotel suggested that it was a temporary condition. Hate to leave a poor review, but the rooms were pretty disappointing. On a good note, the breakfast was fine and as mentioned, the front desk attendants were helpful and kind.
