“We liked the quiet and seclusion. The little house was very clean and tidy and appeared as listed online. ”

“This quiet, out of the way place was exactly as described and what we were hoping it would be. The pond across the acreage with deer and ducks was fun to watch while sitting on the porch. We enjoyed the birds, the chickens, the frogs, starry night sky - all the things in nature. It was a great place as a jumping off spot to drive to Helvetia and back. Great winding roads that followed babbling creeks. The tiny barn is not really tiny - plenty of room, all the amenities you need and……

“Talk about getting away from it all, that is what one does when you escape to Faith Mountain! The cabins are deep in the beautiful rolling mountains of West Virginia. It was comfortable, clean, welcoming, and felt like home. There are great trails on the property that are well marked and maintained. The small lake is invites one to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. A true gem of a place.”

“We were warmly greeted and her daughter prepared and delivered a tasty treat after we arrived. Inside the cabin is clean, cute, and cozy. The nearby Hometown Diner is a treat, as well as the hiking trails at Holly River State Park.”

“My friends and I spent a week at the Blackberry Cottage in April 2025. The cabin is super comfortable and located to so many great WV destinations. This is the second time we stayed at this particular cabin. Just like the previous time, the cabin was spotless when we arrived and exactly as advertised. The property manager is amazing. When the internet connection dropped, we contacted her and she called within minutes with a solution. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be coming back.”
