“Easy…It was Fantastic!!”

“This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! The host is extremely helpful and friendly. I had asked if there were board games and he literally went and bought some haha! GREAT place for……

“My kiddo wanted to stay in a cabin and have a fire in a fire pit, and this fit the bill perfectly. Clean and tidy and not remote--in a tiny neighborhood near all the tourist stuff but feels far away from that.”

“Nice place and location and reasonable price. Kids loved the spiral staircase and Jacuzzi tub in the two bedroom units”

“Pros: The pool was excellent, well kept and clean. Silvio was responsive to any issues that came up along the way. The location is nice and quiet. Cons: Most of the furniture was stained, broken and decrepit. The lighting was sallow and yellow. The kitchen cabinets had a smell and the remote was so sticky we put it in a ziploc to use it. We would return if the house was updated and freshened up to promote a clean and inviting feel.”

“There is a lot of attention to detail in their home. All of the bathrooms were custom tiled and much care was taken in the colors and textures. The kitchen had every utensil or tool we needed, and even a first aid kit, which we unfortunately needed to use a band aid from. There were plenty of blankets and tons of towels for our frequent hot tub dips. It felt like they had lived in there and thoughtfully renovated to make life easier, versus other houses we've stayed at that have a flipped……

“We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable ”
