The bed was clean; the room was ok but overall, the property needs cleaning. The mirrors in the gym were gross. The doors and windows were all sweating from the pool. I guess that's air filtration or air exchange. The baseboards were all dented and need cleaning and maybe painting. The elevator needs a wipe down. It's a Wyndham property. I expected more. The breakfast area OMG it was bad. The inside of the fridge needs regular wiping. The condiments were in a holder that had not been cleaned in ages. There was a lonely apple in the fruit tray that was old. The tables were sticky. the counter edges had not been wiped down in ages, there were crumbs and dust piled up. I would not have eaten anything from that breakfast area - ever! The lady that was bringing out the food needs to wash her hair and nails, it was bad!
The gentleman at the front desk was nice enough but not for a front facing customer service role. He was dressed way too casually and although he was not rude, he was very short and not very personable. I asked for a room on the lowest floor possible and he said to me, 'no you get what you get". He could have been nicer. turns out that we did have a room on the 1st floor but the way he approached it was short.
We travel a lot and stay in hotels that are older, but this was well below what we paid for it. It is not worth it. Next time we will stay across the street at the Holiday Inn where you pay a bit more but worth the money you pay.
