“This was our second time staying here, sixth time on Lake Vermillion. The cabin is basic but the property, deck and proximity to the lake were great. The WiFi kept resetting but we were able to get by on our T-Mobile personal hotspots so we didn’t bother reporting it until the end of our stay. Before our stay we brought up an issue we had with the boat lift the last time. Sarah had someone install new bunks before we got there, so the lift worked perfectly for us this time.”

“My family had the best time. The cabin was beautiful and well equipped with whatever you need. My kids and i loved the game room. Cabin was roomy and had a great deck . 5 mins away from numerous public lake access which made it easy to come and go. Restaurants right down the road for a quick drink or dinner. “My family of 4 had a great time here. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, the fishing was great (two largemouth bass over 3 lbs!), we saw bald eagles, loons, mink, Canadian geese, ducks and deer, and the location was perfect: close to town but very private. We never even saw a neighbor. The cabin itself was comfortable and there were so many little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable and showed how much the owners care. “The Island is in a beautiful quiet location. Once you get all your stuff to the island its all relaxation. Fishing off the dock was good for the kids and provided good excitement. There are several places to eat and gas up on the big part of the lake. You can even access Fortune Bay via boat with a 30-40 minute boat ride. Golf at the Wilderness is top notch. The cabin is small, but enough room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Black bay is a small bay which provides nice protection when the……

“Myself, my husband, our dog, and our niece and nephew and their dog stayed at this beautiful cabin on the lake. We did all of the water sports that were provided, including the water bikes, the pedal boat, the kayaks, and we were able to dock our boat and take it out right from the property. They had every amenity you can think of an even left snacks and mementos to take home. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Will definitely consider coming back again! Highly recommend!”
