“This place is awesome, this is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will be back again. The house is very nice and well kept. Kelly the property owner is very responsive and a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us suggestions to help make the week great. We also rented a pontoon boat from the owner and that went very smooth and made the trip perfect. 5 stars all around. Thanks for a great vacation!!”

“ Home is in need of a deep cleaning to remove animal hair from couches and other areas. Random garbage in cabinetry and under furnishings from past tenants. Was never given check in info until hrs after check in once i wrote the host directly it took another hr or so to gain access after arriving. ”

“The house is dated but we really enjoyed ourselves for our family reunion trip. It was clean and the lake view was amazing. ”

“Overall a great place and accurate to the online description. Perfect size for a family of 4 and quiet location. Good amount of consumables provided, such as paper goods, seasonings, soap, etc. Host was responsive and friendly. Could use a few more kitchen items - such as a small fry pan and large oven tray. My only recommendation is for minor maintenance checks and fixes between bookings - we had a lot of lights out (the outside light being a concern when arriving back late), dead batteries in……

“Here for a family reunion , our stay was very nice and special no problems at all. Everything was in excellent condition and very homey, clean. On my next visit I’ll make sure this place is available, Didn’t have time for the fire pit hopefully next time we’ll put it too the test. ”

“When not at the races close by it was very relaxing by the lake and felt pretty private considering there were other lodging spaces around the property! The pictures show it accurately! Our group was gone the during the days and being close to Talladega it was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable and the only need besides food was paper plates and plastic utensils. We hope to book it again next year.”

“Warm and welcoming hosts, awesome cabin style farmhouse in the perfect setting for us! 1 mile to hiking trails, a beautifully maintained yard, birds a plenty and a big sky of bright stars at night without lots of light pollution. A piece of heaven for us. Thanks again!”
