“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“The landscaping front & back is beautiful & welcoming. Seeing rows of flowering plants in full bloom from the big deck was peaceful. Walkable area for anyone with pets although all our guests’ pets were all back home. Great open floor plan. Great primary suite w double sinks. Kitchen easy to have 2-3 prepping & cooking and better pans, refrigerator and stove than we’ve ever encountered in a STR. Comfortable furniture all around, too. I highly recommend the hosts.
