“The property is very unique, special. Located directly on the Douro river with incredible views. The house was welcoming, comfortable and clean. The food cooked for us was always in abundance and delicious. They, Elena and Claudia, looked after our needs (dining, drinks, laundry, etc) very well and kindly. “We stayed in the apartment which is a separate building and just like a 2 bedroom house. Very clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable bed. Parking is just outside and a 30 second walk to the main hotel where we had a great breakfast each day. The views are fantastic - across the river to the vineyards on the hillside and so peaceful.
