“The aim was to see some of Extremadura. The Cortijo was ideal. It was well situated to visit Cacares, Merida, Trujillo and Badajoz. The walk to the Castillo at Montachez was excellent if a bit steep in places. The house itself was spacious with lots of places to sit and a great pool. ”

Pippa hat uns sehr freundlich empfanen und die Gespräche mit Manfred (ihr Mann) waren sehr interessant und unterhaltsam. das Haus ist einfach nur schön, traumhaft und extrem stilvoll eingerichtet. Gerne haben wir uns darin, aber auch auf den Terassen aufgehalten. Wir würden sofort wieder dahin gehen. Wir waren noch nie an sooo einem ruhigen Ort in den Ferien. das einzige, was man zwischendurch hörte, waren der Esel oder ein paar Hunde, aber……

“The barn in Finca al-Manzil is a perfect place to be, a kind of dream come true. Very tasteful inside and at the same time very practical: there is literally everything you need. And in front of the house a lovely veranda ads a beautiful yard with ancient trees. Behind you the mountain ridge and in front of you a wide view of rural Extremadura.
