“We stayed here for a long weekend during a family reunion and it was great. Definitely the right size for a couple. Loved strolling the grounds near the Vermilion and bird watching in all the beautiful trees. The house itself was well appointed with everything we needed. It was 21 degrees while we were there, so we especially appreciated the space heaters. Hosts were communicative and helpful. Would totally stay here again. ”

Host offered to buy us breakfast for the inconvenience (we had to very quickly pack up with a rambunctious 2 year old), but never followed through which was a bit of a disappointment. “This is a very cool place that has everything. This getaway place is near the city but feels like it is at a campground. We loved the 2 different houses and the outdoor area with the firepit. It has plenty of parking, space to relax and 2 kitchens that has ample supplies. Check-in and out was convenient as well. We brought some extra chairs and enjoyed sitting by the river which was nice. I'd definitely recommend staying here to enjoy some rest & relaxation. ”

“This was a beautiful, peaceful, perfect place for our adult children to stay in, that came into town for a long weekend for our wedding. It has two separate cottages perfect to have separate, space. But also has an adjoining screened back porch over looking the bayou, that we used to have a Louisiana Friday family night of gumbo, with a fire pit and visiting. The property owners were gracious enough, that they let us use the grounds and property for pre-wedding photos. It was an amazing weekend.……

“Our stay was fantastic. Both hosts were on top of any requests or information we requested. Property owner was welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was scrumptious, with a fabulous homemade gravy. Yum. The kayak trip was perfect and we were able to launch and return to the B&B, although hosts offer drop off and pick up at numerous stops along the river. We definitely will stay again.”
