“The house was mostly very clean and tidy. Obviously a large house with 5 bedrooms sp could easily have a group to stay. Some of the furniture could do with updating, with the only decent bed being the main king bed. You get a huge email with instructions about how to get in and then how to care for the house. The main living room tv didnt have foxtel or netflix connected which was a bit frustrating. The pool was fantastic as was the spa. It was great that it was dog friendly. Its about 10-15 min……

“Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”

“If you’d like to drop out for a few days this is the place. Donna has made the apartment very comfortable and you don’t need to worry about bringing any appliances. Even little thoughtful items like chocolates, chips , crackers , coffee and different teas to name a few.. Beds comfortable and amenities are fresh and clean. Close to all your walking tracks . Fox cafe and Binna Birra lodge restaurant won’t disappoint. Loved the pool and outdoor area. Little wallabies and plenty of birds to hear……

“This property is truly amazing! Quiet, relaxed atmosphere with incredible views from every window and porch area with wallabies and cows literally just out the window. Well stocked and spacious house with plenty of room and the games room is real bonus for all ages. Breakfast on porch overlooking the stunning views, a game of pool or darts, relax in the outdoor spa then have a fire outside in the evening - Gold!! Very friendly and helpful hosts who were easy to contact. Rathodwney only 5……

“My wife and myself had a beautiful stay at Lake Haven. The host do live next door but they were very respectful and gave us our privacy. The view from the balcony of the lake was really beautiful. Such a quite location and we were able to relax. The house smelt so nice and it was really clean. There was a cooker so we could make breakfast and we had everything we need. If I did have a downer on the place it would be just a washing machine and a drier and that's only if you stayed for……

“We love the caretaker cottage. It has everything you want. A step up into ensuite can be an issue. Also a lip in the bedroom doorway can be tricky if one is not paying attention. ”
