I reserved this property 9 months prior to my visit through Expedia and opted to pay at the property. In the interim, my credit card was compromised and I got a new card. The day before I was to arrive, I received an email stating that if I did not call within 24 hours with a new card number, my reservation would be cancelled. I called from Jordan and gave a new number. On arrival, reception did not ask for a credit card for incidentals, but I found later that I could not charge my dinner in the hotel restaurant to my room. In the morning, I went to the front desk to give them my credit card so that I could charge breakfast to the room, but they said since I was checking out later that day that I could not. This is how they treat a Bonvoy member…it was not a great amount but I did want the points that I would have received as a Bonvoy member.
