“Very nice property in a beautiful gated community. (And the owners are making even more landscaping improvements!) Everything as advertised, plus some nice extras (soaps, etc.). We me ade use of the full kitchen, laundry, gas grill, pool table, Chromecast, and we brought a kayak and launched off the pier for two tours of the lake. Definitely would book again.”

“I was in Hickory for a professional training at LRU. My family traveled with me. This property was a short drive to LRU. The neighborhood was quiet, and the accommodations were lovely… and cozy indeed! In my opinion, however, the true magic of this property is its host! She is a gem of a human being. No matter the time of day, she was responsive— almost immediately! … and when a family emergency arose suddenly, she was kind, compassionate and flexible. Hoping to stay with her again next summer……

“Great home and view. Would certainly rent again. Only desirable would be better roads to Blowing Rock which takes about 25 minutes to Main Street. Easily passable roads for 3 seasons but many curves and rough pavement. ”

“A great experience from start to finish. Home is beautiful. Just as described on the website. Very clean. The movie theatre was fantastic. We all gathered (13) in the theatre 3 of the 4 nights. Complimentary candy was much appreciated. Game room was also enjoyed nightly. Kitchen was well stocked. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t supplied. We cooked in every night and used the grill and flat stone. The deck is amazing and had enough seating for all of us to enjoy. The view……

“Great location and beautiful cabin. The cabin was wonderful and very clean. We enjoyed the game room and the porches along with exploring the trails. Highly recommend going if you need a place to unwind and unplug from the world! Great place to spend time with your family and to bring your dogs! We will definitely go back! ”

“We had a fantastic stay at this large mountain home. The open layout and rustic charm made it feel like a true getaway, much more comfortable and private than a hotel or condo.The game room was a huge hit. Ping pong and billiards kept everyone entertained for hours. Sadly, the foosball table was out of commission, and the pool cues had seen better days (missing tips), but the overall experience was still enjoyable.With a few small fixes, this place would be absolutely perfect, but even as-is……
