“Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. “We are usually a very active family but this trip we really enjoyed slowing it down and hanging around the house. They had a bunch of games, dvd, kids books. More than enough room and beds. It was hard to pick which rooms to stay in. Ha! Our family needed this and it was great get away. Town is not far and we feel in love with Nevada city. They had dog man books and my son was over the moon about that. Great stay highly recommended it. ”

“Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! Otherwise, 10/10 excellent and would totally come back! ”
