“After a week in Tropea we needed a change of peace and we couldn't have picked a better location than "Al Grande Gelso". Even before our arrival our host Genesio helped us to receive a package from Sweden and greeted us upon arrival in a welcoming manner. A nice spotless and air-conditioned room with presteen linnen bedding gave us comfortable night. Next morning we were greeted again by Genesio but also his sister Rosetta. “The place is amazing. It is well located by car. Central to much of this part of Calabria. It is family run and they do EVERYTHING to make the stay comfortable. Air-conditioning and heat are available as needed. This is a functioning farm that is very tidy. Loved every aspect. Hope to revisit soon.”
