Excellent location near Stampede grounds. Only a short walk to train and one stop to Erlton station. Evening Stampede fireworks visible from Hotel parking lot.

It appears the property is undergoing much needed renovations. Our room had a noisy portable air conditioner unit which needed to be refixed to the window. Dining room closed so no food service at all. Room was clean. The best thing of this stay was the convenience to the C Train and getting to the Stampede or into the city.

中心地まで鉄道で3駅で到着なのでとても便利。ホテルの裏口と駅が隣接しているのでストレス無しで移動ができました。トイレの電球が切れていたのでわざわざ外してわかる様に置いておいたのに切れた電球がそのまま設置されていたのは残念でした。123号室です。

Prior to my stay, I received an email stating rooms were getting upgraded air conditioners, but some still had portables for the time being which didn’t bother me at all. Upon check in and getting settled in our room, I noticed our portable window air conditioner had been taped up with flimsy plastic, the window screen looked like it had already been propped open and broken into and there was no possible way to close or properly lock your room up ON THE MAIN FLOOR!! This is a major safety concern-especially for the area. We took all our belongings and locked them in our vehicle before leaving the hotel despite all the parking lot signs stating to keep valuables out to prevent theft. I did not feel safe staying at this hotel!!! The only positive I can share is that it is in a great location with LRT station 39 just behind the hotel parking lot. Normally, I would never pay or stay for $240/night to stay in a rundown hotel like this, but the hotel was completely full being Stampede Week and I felt like there weren’t many other options nearby. You live and you learn. Never again.

We stayed at this hotel for the Calgary Stampede, when we arrived it was an easy check in, the train station is right behind the building which was convenient. The bathtub in the room was peeling, electricity was an issue if you had the coffee maker and TV on, the ice machines didn’t work, no one was in to clean/change garbages throughout our whole stay. It needs a lot of work, ourselves and other guests were saying you get what you pay for.

Amenida is exactly what you would expect it to be for an older, budget hotel. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. It is located right by the C Train for ultra convenient access to downtown. The AC was fine in our room - not the most powerful, but enough for a comfortable sleep. Noise from outside was minimal despite it being Stampede. The staff were friendly and courteous, even makig sure we had sunscreen.

The room smelt bad (moldy), we lost power to our room for a 2 hours. The plug in wall by the sink was none functional ad halfway out of the wall (dangerous)

we did like that it was close to the c-train. it wasn't as clean as it could be - we found clothing from previous guests under the bed. we only were given 2 towels and when I asked for more i was only given 2 more for 3 people staying in the room. a/c was in the room but did not stay on for more than 5 minutes at a time

A room without any view, like a cage. They didn’t clean the room regularly until be pushed very hard. Bad smell in the whole room especially the washing area. Too close to the railway with terrible noise In night. Never be back again.

For the price the property is good. Beds are decent, rooms clean and prompt housekeeping services. The pool is great and clean. Only thing that could get updated is the bathtubs. They are pretty nasty around the drain.

This property has very few redeeming qualities. Issues with credit cards, attempted to use a debit card instead. Was informed that a debit card would not be accepted because it didn’t have my name on it. The solution was then to just pay in cash. Why cash is acceptable when a debit card isn’t makes no sense. Bedding was dirty, hotel was loud, AC unit in room was way too loud.

The bathroom had small flies coming up from the drain and the floors and walls of the bathroom were covered with flies by the next morning. It seemed like they had just sprayed with pesticides before our check in time to reduce the number of flies, so it looked normal when we first got to the room. Also the main door didn't go all the way to the foor so we could easily hear any noise from the hall.

The room was nice, however the elevator in this hotel was not available on the 1st and second floor! I have a walker and needed to use the stairs!
