“I booked this place because it was within the travel time that was comfortable for us to drive leaving straight after work. It was my significant other's 40th birthday, and he had been stressed recently, so a relaxing fishing week-end was what I had in mind. He was very pleased with his surprise. He didn't leave the property and opted to just relax on the porch and swing seat. In all it was nice to disconnect from everything and everyone. We did get a little lost when first entering the area. Nature happens right outside the doors. Seen deer often. There was a small problem and the host handled it in record time. Great place and great people. They even surprised us with flowers. “We were staying for a family celebrating an 80th birthday. The property was perfect for the huge group of 18 (8 kids). The fenced backyard was great for the dog and the kids loved the hot tub/spa. We were too early for using the pool, but look forward to that the next time around.
