Riverhouse at Creswell Island

This rental is waterfront property on the White River with a boat dock. Come relax, fish and park your boat in your own private boat dock during your stay. This is a three bedroom and 2 bath house. It sleeps 4-6 people with one king size bed in the downstairs bedroom. The first bedroom upstairs has two twin beds and the second bedroom upstairs has one double bed. This property has a Maximum occupancy of 6 people, regardless of age. The rate listed is for a party of two. There is an additional charge of $10 per person for 3-6 guests. The screened-in porch among the trees will be a favorite spot to relax and listen to the river. The Riverhouse is located in a private area 2 miles from downtown Calico Rock on the White River at Creswell Island. The Riverhouse is on a county road and it is a gravel road the last 1/2 mile to the river. Outdoor furniture, charcoal barbecue grill, and picnic table with views of the river. Beautiful riverhouse
The Riverhouse was clean and had all the comforts of home! This area is beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and viewing the fall foliage so much! Loved the screened in porch and having our own dock to use. Looking forward to coming back soon! Thanks Diane!

We stayed here two years ago and couldn’t wait to return. Calico Rock is incredibly peaceful and the house has all the comforts of home. The hostess and I really connected. She thought of everything you might need. A bag of ice in the freezer and fresh flowers! The little things make a difference. The cabin is adorable and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Fantastic getaway
We came here on family vacation and had a wonderful time. The cabin had everything you could think of, you just need food. Diane was a great hostess, checked in on us several times to make sure we had what we needed and suggested local attractions. Fishing off the dock wasn’t great, but we think it was just too hot, upper 90’s the whole week. My son did catch 2 trout one night. Very quiet getaway and just what this family needed!!! 5 stars all around!

Loved the host, the luxurious bath towels and bedding, the super stocked kitchen, the beautiful deck, the clean house, and time spent with family. Some things in the house really need attention-kitchen cabinets, shower heads that wouldn't adjust, and aerators on all the sinks.

The property and location was exceeded expectations.
We had the most amazing experience. If you are looking for peace and quiet with excitement fishing this place is for you. Diane and local community were friendliest as can be. After a great day of fishing would go down to the dock and enjoy a beautiful sunset along the river. I highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed.

Relaxing Stay
I think this property is a good option for a fishing weekend or just to relax with friends! The place was well stocked and is right on the river with a boat dock to either just fish from or launch your boat. Diane made sure everything was great for our trip! There are lots of things to do close by and several good places to eat. I plan to come back soon.

Just what we needed!
We so enjoyed our stay at The Riverhouse! The location could not have been more peaceful. Diane provided all of the items one would need for a stay and she was great with communication. We certainly appreciated and followed her recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Calico Rock has a quaint Main Street and a wonderful visitor’s center. There are also several things to do in Mountain View, a short and scenic drive south. We plan to return in the Fall to take in the colors! Thanks again, Diane, for a great stay!

Perfect getaway!
The house was exactly as described and beautiful! Everything you could need was already in the house and it was super comfortable! We loved the dock and the wildlife we saw including otters and eagles! Sadly, we didn't get to me our host Diane but she was in constant contact and super nice! We will be back for sure!

Rustic setting on the White River
Rustic cottage right on the bank of the White River. Very well stocked and lots of shade and a great view. Close to fishing, boating, and lots of shopping. Owner was easy to work with and attentive to our every need.

Thanksgiving Trip
We are in the process of building a house and were unable to host our adult children (who live out of state) in our home. We picked this rental property for our family Thanksgiving. To say that the owner went above and beyond would be an understatement! She made sure that I had EVERYTHING that I might need to make Thanksgiving dinner for my family. She turned what could have been a stressful time into a perfect family get together filled with food, fishing and lots of laughter. I highly recommend this property!

Me and my girlfriend came here for our anniversary and let me tell you, it was amazing. We both caught our limit of trout (little Cleo’s) work best. While you're out walking around you might get met by the cat (otter) he is the absolute most funny loving cat I’ve ever seen in my life, if Youre fishing at the dock he just wants to sit in your lap the whole time. It was a 10/10 stay and we will definitely be back
