“I stayed for just one night at Afrique Hotel, Douala and it is a very pleasant experience. I was picked up from the airport and also dropped off at 4am to catch an early morning flight. The room and facilities were neat and decent.The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating.I will not hesistate to recommend the hotel to others.”

“It was fairly typical for a hotel in Africa. There was obvious maintenance that was needed in the bathroom - some peeling paint and an off-kilter cabinet - but the room was big enough for the four of us, and the A/C and hot water was as good as it gets and rather unexpected. The ceiling light in the bedroom was not bright enough, but we brought our own emergency lighting so that was not an issue. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in getting us our room. WARNING: the hotel staff does……

“Great hotel to stay for business purposes, clean facility, prices great and it's worth the experience. I had a wonderful time here with my business partners. I will definitely visit this hotel again. Friendly management team, got to interact with the manager and director who were very helful to me. Some of the amenities are a little worn out and needs updates and repairs but other than that is very minor issues giving the age of the building. But security is wonderful too.”
