“Enjoyed a nice quiet family week here in August. Pool area was great for the kids. House location was quiet and Alora town a few minutes away in the car for coffee/meals and a good supermarket. Despite the August heat, the house stayed relatively cool inside and aircon in the rooms etc.”

“We had an amazing holiday and this beautiful clean spacious villa, the outdoor area is amazing and even has a table tennis table, basketball hoop and a kids tramploine, the pool is beautiful and the outdooor barbecue area is great for outdoor living, even has a large fridge/ freezer so your not having to go inside for drinks, also an outdoor toilet and shower, the beds are very comfortable and you have everything you need for the perfect holiday, sandra is a really lovely host and as a welcome……

“The views from this place are amazing, the pictures don't really do it justice. The house was new, well decorated, and has everything needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked for seven people and had all we needed. We loved experiencing rural Spain, and Christobal was a fantastic host!”

“Loved this house and setting! Quite a trek to get there but worth it once you see the views. Only negatives were that it was COLD and windy in Feb and the heating is really dependent on one wood stove in the LR. Also electric heaters in bedrooms to take chill off in pm and am. Landlady was very responsive and helped a lot with suggestions for local restaurants and sights. Lots of dogs barking (a la France!) otherwise very quiet and peaceful. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The oversized kitchen is ideal for cooking, eating, and playing games. Many bedrooms to choose from and the outdoor space is majestic. The light from the sun, moon, and stars makes an ever-changing landscape that is a feast for the eyes and soul.”

“The house was very clean but some of the kitchen utensils could have been better, there was black mold in the orange juicer.The beds were comfy and the rooms bright and airy.Plenty of outside space and the pool area was very clean.Coming off the main road to the dirt road there were a few potholes which were passable with care. The access was up quite a sharp right turn and quite a steep road, thankfully this was concrete so wasn't too bad. The holiday wasn't as peaceful as we'd hoped as the……

“We booked last minute and the whole process was very smooth. The owner and property manager are very communicative and helpful. The house is lovely, modern and well equipped with top quality appliances. It is very clean. The pool area has just been upgraded and is superb . Just the right size for a swim and cool down . There is plenty of seating and the room terrace views are beautiful. I would recommend if you are looking for a country house with pool . It’s positioned a 5 minute drive to town……

“We had a fantastic holiday. The villa is great and has everything you need. We were particularly thankful for the air conditioning but it is the outside space that we enjoyed the most. The pool was a real hit and we spent plenty of time sitting out and admiring the view. Yunquera itself is a traditional Spanish village with a small supermarket and a number of other shops. We did struggle to eat out there as many places seem to be shut in the week. Not a problem if you want to venture further……
