The location could not have been any better, 2 miles from downtown, with a wonderful river view. We spent the day walking along the river and enjoying the nearby park, historical monuments and the local restaurants. The house is older but quaint. The first level has been updated and is very nice. The 2nd and 3rd levels could use some TLC. The beds are……

“This was our 3rd time renting the ranch house. My husband discovered this amazing place for his Aunt in 2017, who is now battling Alzheimer’s that loved and adored horses. The Farmhouse is a middle location to our family in PA, VA and MD. My husband passed just recently to cancer and it was his 56 birthday and as a family we decided to come together to celebrate at the farm house he loved. “The house was a perfect fit for our group! Several couples and a few singles, there was plenty of room for all to have a bed... the house was layed out so if you needed your own time, you could get away from the group. Plenty of towels and other items in the 3 full bathrooms! We cooked breakfast and dinner... kitchen had all we needed, including spices and all the right pots, pans, dishes, silverware.We broughtt a portable grill but would be nice to have a gas grill and a some patio……

“The hosts were wonderful and willing to work with me when I needed a last-minute stay. I even got to feed a baby goat, which was only one of the highlights of this place.
