The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was good. But the hallways were dirty and the parking was not great for larger vehivled.

The staff were very lovely and work hard, trying to provide quality customer service for a failing hotel. The place is clearly past its due date. Stay elsewhere.

Almost perfect stay - great room, view, attitude, very decent breakfast. A couple of small glitches. Learned they were short staffed. But Nikki was great and doing her best. Room was not ready at check in time - we were not in a hurry. I went immediately to use the washroom and the toilet overflowed. It was taking time to get the repair person in, so we went out to eat. Returned to find toilet fixed Yay! But toilet not cleaned and bathmat which I used to stop the toilet water from running into the bedroom carpet was still where I left it, soaking wet. Still we would absolutely like to stay again.

Our room was fine , outdated but clean, comfortable bed. What turned us off was the hall and stairways. They were filthy on check in and worse on checkout. I suspect they had not been vacuumed in weeks. We have stayed here more than once, the halls and stairs were in the same state last time as well. For that reason we will be staying elsewhere in the future.

Lots of room and homey feel. Street is busy, walkable on the waterfront but busy road to go along. Room is quiet and comfortable, parking indoors.

Zimmerausstattung war einfach aber ok, Mobiliar ist in die Jahre gekommen, auf dem Balkon war leider kein Tisch vorhanden und die Fliegengittertür (Schiebetür) war leider verklemmt und extrem schwer zu bewegen. Leider war bei der Buchung auch nicht ersichtlich, dass die Zimmerreinigung nur bei Aufenthalten über 7 Tage einmal pro Woche stattfindet. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, auch wegen der Verbindungstüren zum Nachbarzimmer. Grundsätzlich war das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit und der Aufenthalt war angenehm.

After many stays here this was the first we were disappointed. Staff eating in breakfast area. A 4 night stay did not receive one room clean. Trying to reach the hotel to update reservations was impossible so ended up using Expedia which cost us more money. Not sure we will return. Beds are comfy and staff are very pleasant.

Not a modern hotel but wonderfully spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable suites with a relaxed feel. Add to this the friendly and kind staff and this somewhat tired hotel is an excellent place to base yourself when visiting Campbell River. And boy what a wonderful view right across from the Discovery Passage - bring your binoculars!

Very outdated and run down. Needs lots of work. Could hear the people talking next door. Carpets are extremely dirty in the hallways. Dirty seat cushioning in the breakfast room. There was no shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The staff were really nice. We were able to check in at 1:30 am.

Gute kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Frühstück schlicht aber ausreichend. Liegt 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt von Campbell River (dort gibt es viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) optimal für frühe Walwatching Touren. Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen aber erfüllt seinen Zweck. Es liegt direkt am Meer somit hat man einen super Ausblick, mit Glück sieht man auch Wale in der Ferne wenn man weiß auf was man Ausschau halten muss.

Excellent service. Staff member went over and above to accommodate my partner who had limited mobility. Hotel carpet and furnishing are old but clean and functional. Rooms are not soundproofed and able to hear conversations in the room next door.

I wanted to like this hotel but found it in need of updating, carpets old, room needed painting and major cleaning. No A/C, just a noisy fan on a warm September evening. Our toilet broke and it wasn’t repaired until the evening, even though we reported it in the morning. We stayed 2 nights and no one came in the room to give clean towels the second day, we had to ask for them. The staff are trying their best but can only do so much. The breakfast was ok, all we needed.

It was an interesting property. But the plumbing in the bathroom needs to be updated - the toilet ran almost constantly. We stayed in a 2 twin bed room.
