The property has an outstanding view of the ocean passage in front of it away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful architectural design and art decor. Staff were very professional and accommodating at the front desk. Clear effort being made to bring the resort up to the standards that previous owners had let go of. Price was reasonable. Restaurant not open yet just the bar and grill,but again outstanding atmospere and view but with a limited menu. Highly recommend, did not see other properties that come close to this one.all the rooms will be updated eventually,and they will get there. Cant wait to visit again....good chance at seeing whales, lots of birds,love the ravens...cheers

Having been there several times since it opened and hearing how it had been allowed to decline it was wonderful to see it coming back to its grandeur. Two things to go --- at its peak there were 75+ fishing boats there so the 3- 5 there now from a 3rd party is not attracting enough of the right clientele. Th Pub has been transformed into a Bar & Grill with a nice but limited menu. If they get a top notch chef and re-open the main restaurant it will become a destination again. Then the Pub scene can return, especially if there is a fishing group as we always met our guides in the pub for a round (or two). One add-on -- last of our stays the central lobby by the fireplace had become a hub for morning coffee and happy hour appies. But to say we felt great being back there is an understatement and we will try to get back but highly recommend --- just check out other fishing options as they seem pricey right now.

Place is ok. Could use a bit of an uplift. Got a bottle of cider from a tiny producer. It froze in the fridge. It was rock solid. Was told I should have regulated rhe temperature before putting anything in the fridge! Other items not in the door were fine. I would expect better consumer considerations at a minimum.

Nice rooms. Nicely maintained site and landscaping. We really enjoyed the restaurant’s ocean view for late night dinner and early departure breakfast, the food isn’t great but it’s there when you need it. We enjoyed the heated pool. Overall good experience, we’ll be back!

Beautiful property, love the look and the common areas. Our ocean view room was huge! Would have loved a hot tub! And it was a bit difficult to find your building in the dark checking in, but otherwise had a beautiful stay and would definitely be back!

The main lodge is beautiful and the restaurant served good food. The room set up was a little odd with the bathroom at another level then the bedroom and a lot of empty space in the bedroom. The mattress felt old and over used.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were kind and attentive. They let us have a microwave in our room so that we can warm up our child’s food. Building / room was a little updated, but it was clean. The whole resort feels family friendly. We went to the dock everyday, view was nice and peaceful and we even saw whales! We didn’t try the restaurant as it was a bit pricey for us, but we see a lot of people eat there. It was a nice stay and we will come back! 😄

It’s great uf you avoid the restaurant. And don’t go if it’s unseasonably warm as there is no air conditioning and minimal fans. Also bring a power strip. There’s very few outlets.

Great location. Excellent staff. The rooms are nice but the hotel overall needs a refresh. the rooms are not even close to being soundproof. I could hear the people beside me and their TV.
