“My son and I rented this house for a week as we were there to fish the NBAA bass tournament. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Our 22 foot boat and truck fit in the driveway easily which was really nice. The location was perfect. We will definitely stay at this house again in the future!”

“This was my family’s first VRBO stay and if the majority of owners are like this one, I don’t know how hotels are still in business. -Description was spot on, including where the local convienience store was if you needed dry wood-communication with the owner was above bar. She had a wealth of knowledge and was willing to share. We plan on making many more trips to Cumberland, and when we go. We already know where we will book our stay.”

“Great stay for three old buddies! Good vommunication from owner. This is a large house of three levels. Nice setup with a bathroom on all levels. We fished in the small private pond on the subdivision with good success. About 40 fish in four hours between the three of us. Nothing huge but we were kept active. Used the kitchen for all meals. ”

“The views are stunning! Love the idea of a converted container. Great space! It rained for a majority of our trip so the no-wifi was rough. We had a hot spot with us but connection was spotty. The rain generated A LOT of mud which made things a little messy since we had to go out a lot to walk our pup but host was responsive with ways we could try to manage the mess. Would love to visit again in the summer as having the river right there was really cool!”

“Before arriving I emailed the owner and asked if there were any other instructions or info I needed to check in? He replied no, have a great weekend. So upon arrival we encounter a key lock, which we had anticipated but saw there was no code included in any of our correspondence? So here we are, at our destination, after 5 hours of driving and we’re stuck on the porch! I messaged the host, and while waiting on a response we unloaded our luggage and supplies, and sat on the porch. I’m sure it was……

“Overall we had an incredible stay. The location is gorgeous, views are awesome, master bed was incredibly comfortable. They provided some nice touches that we appreciated, like pods for the keurig, multiple types of hand soaps, plenty of towels. The only reason I am not giving this property five stars is because we noticed a few little cleaning touches that were missed, including old beer cans on the back deck and what appeared to be some dead bugs in the bathroom light. “The house was nice and new as the photos show. It was a little too secluded from civilization with no WiFi. It also had no direct lake access. There house didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Our feet were black from the floors by the end of the first night. The dishes were dirty, the towels were dirty, and the bedspread in the bunk room had white residue on it that looked like c*m. Random bugs everywhere upon arrival. I tried to complain to the owner and asked for the cleaning fee back because……
