But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay.”

“We’ve stayed at this lovely property two years in a row and plan to visit again in the future. The host is so lovely and helpful, but is not at all intrusive. The view of the ocean is wonderful and it is fun to watch the boats going to and from the harbor. There is a family of eagles that make regular appearances. “Other than the fact that the coffee maker took two hours to make a pot everything was great. Location was perfect for going to the light house at low tide. Beds were comfortable and the view from the master was amazing.”

“We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit. Even though it was cool my wife enjoyed the quiet solitude of the Eagles Nest gazebo for morning devotions. We had two separate whale sightings and the……

“Everything was exactly as advertised. Location and cabin are excellent. We saw bald eagles and porpoise from the deck. We did a whale watch and saw 3 humpback whales. My only suggestion would be a larger tv in the living room ”
