Kentucky Natural Bridge/Red River Gorge Cabin Rental

Hill Billy Heaven is a real log cabin. It is located close to the Natural Bridge State Park and Red River Gorge. The first floor has a great room with a gas fireplace, open dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a queen size bedroom and full bath with a double size jacuzzi tub. Upstairs is another queen size bedroom, a loft with two single beds and a full bath.

It is situated on a 2 acre, 25' deep, that is spring fed lake that is full of fish. There is a floating dock for sunning and swimming. A 10' X 25' covered porch overlooks the lake. There is a kayak and a canoe on site for your use.

The cabin has very nice furnishings and artwork. There are Quality towels and bed coverings and linens. If you are looking for an upscale cabin in a secluded location, the Hill Billy Cabin is for you.

We now have hi-speed wireless internet

Gorgeous Setting.
We had trouble finding it. GPS did not have street. we did not see the street sign. No cell signal. But we went to Cliffview Resort and they showed us on a map. Door code had not been updated. owner advised VRBO not notify owner of our reservation. When we finally settled in it was just magical.

Thanksgiving Getaway
Very relaxing. Cabin had everything we needed to fix Thanksgiving dinner. Easy to get to, very comfortable, beds were really comfortable. Lovely view. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for any outdoor activity. Lots of TV options. Would rent again.

Quiet haven.
Quiet, Fall setting, on a nice pond for kayaking. Dock was nice for bird-watching and relaxing. The sound of falling acorns on the metal roof could be be surprising, but much less disturbing than the roar of city motorcycles! The road next to the cabin was seldom used, and the inside cabin had a warm and inviting decor.

Great Location near Red River Gorge
My family of 5 enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and we really enjoyed the use of the canoe and fished off the dock every day. It was nice having a covered porch to sit out on during the rainy days. Communication with the owner was fast when we had a question. The only complaint was that cleanliness could have been a bit better. Small things like cleaning off the toothpaste on the walls in the bathroom, sweeping behind the beds in the loft area, and giving the small appliances a good wipe down would make this place 5 stars. Our family would still stay here again because the location is excellent and we loved having a little spot on the water.

Great place - rude host
The place was beautiful and very clean! My family had a great time. However every time I had to communicate with the host he was very rude. I asked for the address a final time before leaving and he got angry stating if he’s already sent it once why send it again. The host could not find the Roku remote after we left (what we do with a Roku remote??) and he was EXTREMELY rude.

Perfect spot in Red River Gorge!
Took our niece and her 7 and 16 year old kiddos. Spent some time in the lake, fishing and canoeing. The 7 year old great nephew enjoyed catching (and releasing) three fish! This was the perfect get away and in a great location for ziplining, the underground kayak tour and numerous hiking trails. Can't recommend it enough!

Waterfront Cabin
Awesome property right on a nice size pond. Cabin was well equipped with just about everything you could need during your stay. Located close to a bunch of awesome adventures and good food. My family enjoyed being able to enjoy the local sights and having a place close to relax at the end of the day. There are several cabins in the area but still has the feel of being secluded in the woods.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION
There is nothing more relaxing than water and a deck to relax on to enjoy the view. We were able to get to some spectacular parks in a reasonable amount of time. During the week is best, unless you enjoy crazy weekend youth. Still was wonderful.

Great place to stay!
We loved staying here. The cabin was perfect. We put the boys upstairs and they had their own space while we took the downstairs room. The pond kept the boys busy with fishing and kayaking. They caught a ton of fish! The decks are great even when it rained since they are covered. I would highly recommend staying here!

Relax and rewind
Awesome property with access to a beautiful pond. This place features a covered porch with plenty of room for your crew to hang out. I loved having morning coffee while watching the fog roll off the pond.

Spacious but cozy cabin near everything
The cabin is charming with a beautiful view of the lake along with a canoe and kayak. For anyone planning to zipline (which we highly recommend!), it is just minutes from the check-in. Lots of great hiking within 20 min drive in every direction. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Great Rental
The house was situated close to all of our activities we had planned in Red River Gorge. The house was nice and cozy and had a great little bonus porch with two porch swings. The fire pit was a favorite as well. Also, a short walk from the cabin is a 1.5 mile hiking path to Suzanne Arch, a must do!

Fall Trip Natural Bridge SP/Red River Gorge
The location is very nice. Cabin has a nice floor plan and could've been very comfortable... except for the grime! It needs an extreme cleaning! The layers of dirt and dust were everywhere - on the stairs, in all corners, all along the floorboards, the kitchen floor where the cabinets overhang were full of dead bugs everywhere! I didn't dare open a window since every one was a "spider condo" full of webs and dead bugs. Disgusting! Also, the gas fireplace didn't work! The shower on main floor was very difficult to use. Do required maintenance and CLEAN IT and it will be a nice place.

Girls’ trip
We had a great stay for our girls’ trip. The place was exactly as described. Beautiful front covered deck to sit out and enjoy your coffee in the morning or rest in the evening. The place was comfortable and had everything that we needed. Will definitely book again!
