“I grew up coming up to this lake. My family owned a small log cabin across the cove. It is heart warming to know that there are still a handfull of cozy, knotty-pine paneled cabins here like the one I grew up in. This place was completely charming — big stone fireplace, beamed ceilings with skylights, large deck overlooking the water, lots of windows for natural light. The kitchen was great but could have used some wine glasses and other glassware, and the oven was difficult to figure out. Also,……

“Wanted a place my family and I could stay to go hiking and enjoy the fall foliage. The Fox House was great! We had plenty of space for all of us, including an infant. It was not the best of weather but we still had fun!! The house had it all!!”

“Lovely appointed condo - very cozy yet lots of space to spread out. On a rainy day, you can still enjoy the mountains with excellent views from the living room. Perfect location for hiking locally. There's even a hike that begins within the complex. We used it as home base for hikes to Lonesome Lake, Aratruthsa Falls, the Basin and Cascade trail and a visit to the Flume.”

“We loved our stay at this immaculate log home! The comfy furniture and spacious open floor plan was perfect for our family gathering. We all spent lots of time on the large wraparound porch, that overlooked a private, woodsy yard area. This home is tucked away at the end of a country neighborhood, so very peaceful and quiet. “We are two elderly couples who travel a lot together. We have stayed in VRBOS in France, UK, Croatia, Costa Rica, Belize and all around the US. We were very happy with this lovely log cottage. It was easily accessible to all the parks and scenic roadways around NH. It was very private and peaceful. Ample parking. “We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and everything was just as described. The gas fireplace was nice to put on each morning while enjoying a cup of coffee. Very close to all the things we enjoy while visiting the White Mountains. We would definitely stay again!”

“From the moment we entered the room smelled horrible. Even after spraying the room with disinfectant it still smelled entering each time. We had to open the sliding glass door to air out the room every time. The curtain appeared to have mold on it.The coffee table was not clean. We needed to clean it upon arrival. The WiFi did not work. The floors were sticky. The plates and glasses in the cabinets were dirty. We needed to wash before using. There was not extra toilet paper we needed to……

“Awesome property for a group with multiple living areas. The basement level was undoubtedly the highlight of the home. The mountain shuttle runs right past the home regularly which made getting over to the ski area a breeze. Communication and check-in / check-out was exceptionally smooth. Would definitely recommend!”
