A pretty average experience staying at Pinnacle as a of 4. Whilst there are good aspects of the property (namely it's location), the room felt a little run down and we won't be rushing back.
Pros:
- location is super close to restaurant precinct which has some really great options (Penny University cafe is phenomenal)
- rooms are spacious, a 2br apartment was plenty of space for a family
- plenty of secure undercover parking
Cons:
- our apartment was not very clean on check in; drinking glasses had grime in them, the dishwasher smelled putrid and there was a few dirty items in there, whole place was stale smelling
- fly screen on balcony in need of repair, not safe with small children
- there was a weird sewerage smell emitted from the bathroom/toilet late in the day
- they charge $20 per night for a cot ($10-15 is pretty standard but this seemed ridiculous)
- the parking spaces are tiny, it was virtually impossible to get children in and out of carseats if someone was parked next to you
Would recommend if you are staying with children to request a room away from the main driveway. The noise of people coming and going was quite disruptive in the evenings.
