We were just here recently so I can give an honestly opinion on the resort. First off, staff is fantastic! Jimmy and everyone on the pool team on the Coral side of the resort were fantastic and brought life to the pool.
First, the Adults Only is very misleading. The entire resort is not Adults Only, just 1 the building you are staying at. Other than the 1 pool, and the buffet and snack area, everything else is at the kid friendly side of the resort. So please be aware of this before booking. The main restaurants you would want to eat at are all located on that side of the resort.
Now for the food, it is very inconsistent. The few food places we really enjoyed were the taco day that they had by the pool and the buffet (depending on who the chefs are) and the hibachi place. The Hibachi place served use gyoza that were cold in the middle. But everything else was good. The Italian place was probably the worst of the bunch. There was an issue with almost everything we got, from the steak being rare when we asked for medium, and the Salmon being cold and the issues were our apps. We ended up not finishing our dinner here and leaving for the buffet. We wasn't sure what exactly was the cause but one of the guests we were traveling with got food poisoning while we were here.
A key thing to note of the hotel is that as soon as you get in, they will try to drag you into some timeshare nonsense. They'll try to waste your time for some lame perks.
Basically it was a mid stay.
