We had mixed feelings about our stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun. The kids’ program was wonderful—my daughters absolutely loved it, and the staff were great. However, there were several issues. Restaurant availability was very limited, making it hard to enjoy the different dining options. The main pools were not very clean, and there weren’t many water activities or toys. Our room’s plunge pool was also poorly maintained. The lobby had no air-conditioning, which made waiting uncomfortable, and both check-in and check-out took much longer than expected. Overall, the resort has potential, but several areas need better management.

It was a pleasant experience overall. The staff was very friendly, and the food was decent. However, I believe there’s room for improvement, both in terms of the food and the entertainment options in the pool area.

Service and staff were absolutely fantastic. The food was okay, but I feel like that’s par for the course with all inclusive resorts. The beaches were full of seaweed even though the staff tried to clean the areas.

So just for you people to think that this is an all inclusive resort it is with limitations. Don’t think you’re gonna get premium alcohols even if you pay for the upgrade there are several bottles at the bar that you would have to pay up to $25 per a shot. So with this said, I was greatly dissatisfied with the thought of paying for all inclusive but in reality, it’s not I have stated several inclusive resorts throughout the last 10 years if it’s at the bar, then it’s included. This goes for places to eat as well at the resort. I had some waiters that were extremely good, but due to the service that the cooks providing which was very inconsistent, I would have to say my meals were not great. With some of the positive things I would like to say, though is the cinnamon rolls are excellent. Some of the entertainment guys and gals were as well very good at their job.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The pool area is absolutely fantastic — spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing or having fun. There were plenty of activities throughout the day, and the shows (Uci, the singers ) in the evening were super entertaining and well-organized. This is a great hotel for kids! The Kids' Club is one of the best I've seen — fun, safe, and full of engaging activities. The staff there is amazing with children, and they really know how to keep them happy and entertained. The food at the Seafood and Japanese restaurants was delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. What really stood out to me was the excellent service — the waiters were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. I highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. I would definitely come back!

Food was not good, it took really long time to get food from restaurants. I got sick (gastroenteritis). My lumbar support pillow got lost and my night guard was broken after the first night of stay. Abraham from Seaside Grill made a great effort to improve our experience. Kudos to him and Arsenio.

This was our 3rd year at the resort. We absolutely love it here. The food is phenomenal, the staff amazing - big shoutout to Antonio in activities! - and the setting beautiful. We always get the room with the plunge pool and enjoy it at the end of the day. The night time entertainment doesn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to go back next year!

The hotel itself was lovely, with all the amenities we needed and furniture that was perfect for our 2-year-old. The 24-hour coffee shop was especially convenient, as we needed milk for our son both early in the morning and late at night. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. It wasn’t what we expected at all — we got by, but it definitely didn’t stand out. I also didn’t like that food wasn’t served at the pool area, nor were you allowed to eat there, unlike other resorts we’ve visited. Poolside service was pretty disappointing unless you paid for a cabana. On our first day, we couldn’t even get a server to take our drink order and had to go to the bar ourselves. However, once we rented a cabana the next day, the service was noticeably better and more attentive. Overall, it was a decent experience, but we wouldn’t choose to return.

Great resort. Clean and a beautiful layout. Food was delicious which offered a variety of options. Service was generally good, which a few exceptions. Rooms were clean. Only issues we had was check in. They wasted an hour of our time during check in trying to upsell services to us and they wouldn’t seem to take no as an answer. Which frustrated me. And they initially refused to give us 2 room keys even tho we are two people. We had to argue to get a 2nd room key. And no one escorted us to our room to show us where it is. After the battles of checking in, everything was perfect. In general I would visit again.

As a single mom traveling with my daughter, I can honestly say Dreams Riviera Cancun gave me something rare — the ability to relax, feel safe, and be truly cared for. The resort is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the entertainment kept us smiling — but it was the staff who made this trip unforgettable. The Explorer’s Club team — Tam, Gio, Coco, Laura, Mar, and Paty — were amazing with my daughter. She felt so happy and secure there that I was finally able to unwind and enjoy some real rest. The beach bar with the swings became my go-to spot. The bartenders were so friendly, genuine, and easy to talk to — I kept going back just for the great energy and conversation. Ricardo, our poolside waiter, was kind, attentive, and always showed up at the perfect moment. And Alfonso, one of the bellboys, made such a warm impression — helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. Every interaction we had with staff felt sincere. This resort is special. I’m already planning to come back — not just for the beach, but for the people who made it feel like home. Thank you, Dreams, for giving us such a meaningful, safe, and joy-filled experience.
