I recently stayed at the Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by some significant issues. Despite booking a room with two queen beds, I was assigned a room with only one king bed. To make matters worse, I was given a connected room, which was not part of my original booking.
## Room Assignment Issues
The room assignment was a major letdown. I had specifically requested a room with two queen beds to accommodate my family, but the room I was given fell short of my expectations. The connected room was an added inconvenience, and I wish the staff had been more attentive to my needs.
## Food Quality
The food at the resort was another area where they fell short. While the variety of options was decent, the quality of the food was not up to par. I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in the culinary offerings.
## Staff and Overall Experience
Despite the issues with my room and the food, the staff at the resort was generally friendly and helpful. However, their inability to get the basics right, such as room assignments, left a sour taste in my mouth.
