Try to make reservations for the restaurant when first day I came. And find all the restaurants in hotel are not available except the buffet. and for the rest 4 days of my stay, i can only ate buffet, which is so bad. They also make a mistake on the room.i came with my friend, we booked a 2 beds room, but there is only 1 king size bed room left. Was Told that was the last room they have. So we have to sleep on one bed.

Puntos positivos, en general es un buen servicio, el check in rápido y la mayoría de las instalaciones muy bonitas tal como las fotos. Puntos en contra, el concierge primero nos trató muy bien cuando nos quería vender la membresía del hotel, bastó con decir que no estábamos interesados para que su actitud cambiara y se volvió grosero, insistió demasiado. En cuanto a la comida, poca variedad en el buffet de cenas y desayunos, la comida simple y sin mucho sabor, en cuanto a los restaurantes de especialidad, la verdad es que nunca pude reservar, no había espacios y eso que lo intentaba desde muy temprano o el día anterior, no te dicen que por ejemplo el restaurante de comida oriental, solo lo abren los fines de semana y el de Italiana nunca hubo espacios. Otro punto terrible es que están remodelando la mitad de la alberca principal, no hay acceso y eso no lo mencionan. Yo pagué vista a lago y muy bonito el atardecer.

There was so much construction going on, we didn’t even get a notice that there would be. One pool was closed so there was only two pools to swim in.. but worse of all, they had a wall put up (to block the construction area) so you couldn’t even see the ocean from the outside area! The hot tub was murky. They close the pool at 7pm!!! Who doesn’t want to swim after 7pm??? There was so much sargassum on the beach, you had to walk over a giant pile of it to get into the ocean water. The toilet in our room didn’t flush right. And to top it off, the smoke alarm went off at 2am. I will not be staying here again and will not recommend to any of my friends or family. We drive around and there were soooo many better hotels to stay at! Do not choose GR Solaris!

Staff are very friendly. The checkin staff are a little lacking. They seem bothered when asked questions im sure they are asked all the time. The quality of the food is not good. Im not sure if this is the hotel or Cancun in general. None of the food we ate in or out of the hotel was very good. The coffee is not good which is a bummer. It tastes like instant coffee The hotel needs a major upgrade. It is dated and in of a refresh. Lots if cracked flooring, stains on the walls and ceilings, windows are dirty on the 6th floor. Smells like mild or mildew throughout the hotel. The nightly shows were the best part if the stay.

Half the resort is under construction, I wouldn’t book if this was shared beforehand. Had to endure the construction noise for my whole stay, kids pool, and one of the adults pull is closed. Had a room next to me play LOUD music at 11pm and the hotel staff said that they couldn’t do anything about it, and wouldn’t change my room. Food was ok, but boring.

The hotel wasn't too busy but was great in all aspects, the pools were adequately cleaned and the food and drink service was delivered to a great standard. I would suggest putting out hash browns more often at breakfast if available to you. The lady at the egg station was fantastic!

We recently celebrated our 15th anniversary at GR Solaris Cancun & Spa - All Inclusive, and while the resort had its perks, we felt that the activities were somewhat limited compared to other all-inclusive resorts we've stayed at. However, the staff was generally friendly and helpful. One issue we encountered was with housekeeping not changing our sheets, but after bringing it to the front desk's attention, they promptly sent someone to assist. Overall, it was great, but we might consider their sister adult-only property for our future trips they had more varied activities. P.S the food was very good 4/5 stars
