My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Park Royal Cancun for our summer vacation, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Having had a wonderful time during my previous visit five years ago, I was truly looking forward to this stay. On the positive side, the hotel's location is still excellent, offering beautiful views and convenient access to the beach. Moreover, their drink selection was decent, providing a small solace amidst the disappointments. However, the decline in service and food quality left us thoroughly dissatisfied. One major safety concern was the lack of floor mats or anti-slip padding around the jacuzzi area. Both my son and daughter suffered unfortunate accidents, slipping and hitting their heads on the marble floor tiles. I strongly suggest that the hotel takes immediate action to prevent similar incidents in the future by implementing safety measures in such high-risk areas. Another letdown was the significant decline in the quality and variety of food since my last visit. This aspect was one of the highlights during my previous stay, and it's disheartening to witness the evident drop in standards. Overall our stay was very nice. Upon arrival we were told of all the dining options. The pizza shop is no longer in service and Italian restaurant was not open for the first few nights of our stay. The resort itself checked all of the boxes. The pools were nice, plenty of seating available. We went to three of the (included) dining options for dinner, all were nice, but came with lengthy wait times and the food wasn’t as warm as we’d have liked, but still a nice option outside of the buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only slight letdowns were the lack of hot water in the rooms, we took cold showers all week, and the nightly activities and shows were a bit lackluster. Overall it was a nice stay, beautiful resort and amazing views! We traveled with three kids (13, 11, and 9), and the resort was able to secure us two neighboring rooms.

Great location but need major upgrade or at least standard check. We opt for upgrade and willing to pay extra but the service nor the room isn’t that of a vip treatment! There are issue with our Villa cleanliness and another Villa with broken hvac unit throughout the first night

We really enjoyed although some stuff weren’t as good as we thought it would be like for example, the food some days were good some days we’re not but they didn’t change the experience that we had. The food options were OK. The Italian was the best portions and had a small buffet with it. The Japanese was very small portions so much so, we went to buffet later in the night. You had to make reservations for the hibachi part, we tried but could never get one. The staff at the restaurants most were all amazing.

The experience at Grand Park Royal luxury resort was nothing short of fantastic . We originally booked the swim up suite but decided to take advantage of our free upgrade to the Premium Suite which was breathtaking . Our butler Jessica did an amazing job. Damian the bartender at the rooftop lounge is fantastic as well as Christian at the Lobby bar . The food was great however I feel like the room service options could’ve been a little better . Highly recommend the breakfast at the buffet . French Toast was so good , bacon crispy and the green juice OMG .Amazing . They also serve hot dogs , burgers, pizza , wings etc daily at the pool grill . Burgers were kind of on the Mondo Burger size aka HUGE but if that’s your thing you will like it .

The service and the room was good, the food was okay but from my room you could hear all the hallway noise and next door rooms too! The checkin was quick but from there they send you off to someone else to give you hotel information and then tries to get you to sign up for a sales meeting if 90 minutes for discounted adventure tickets. The meeting starts off with a breakfast conversation where they try to get to know your vacation habits and get you to open up and start feeling comfortable. The meeting is not 60 minutes, it’s more like 3-4 hours!! As they start telling you little by little and then start talking about pricing 3 hours later. There is no official pricing brochure only a sales shark giving you different numbers and deals every time there is an excuse! Luckily I didn’t didn’t sign up but my mother was very close. After reading the reviews I am very glad I pulled my mother out of the meeting as she was being brainwashed/ scammed. Do not accept the meeting, they will promise giveaways, big discounts and make it sound so easy but your better off paying a bit more than attending the sales meeting.

Check-In Quick process (about 15 min) in a spacious lobby with seating. No welcome drink offered. We inquired about reserving a Bali bed ($400 p/d), and that it would be best to upgrade to The Royal for $500 extra for our full stay. Isaias was polite, but our room keys didn’t work, so we had to return to the front desk. Membership Sales Avoid the timeshare tour! They promise 90 minutes, but we were stuck for nearly 2.5 hours and passed through 7 different people. After repeatedly saying no, we had to walk out. Pushy and unprofessional—do yourself a favor and skip it. Butler Service Jessica was amazing! Although we weren’t contacted on time, once we met her, she provided 5-star service—great communication via WhatsApp, handled all our dinner reservations, and reserved our Bali bed daily. She truly elevated our experience. Restaurants • La Veranda: Great buffet, Fermin on the grill was fantastic. • Flor de Sal: Friendly staff, but food took 30+ mins. Great cappuccinos. • Koi: Fun hibachi experience, food was okay but not hot. • Café Solé: Great spot for ice cream, pastries, and light bites. Adult Pool Bar Belmai, Fanny, and Santiago gave us exceptional service by the premier pool. Very attentive and friendly! Beach Seaweed was heavy in July—beach closed 4 out of 5 days. Luckily, the water cleared on our last day and we enjoyed it with a Bali bed. Check-Out Seamless! Jessica arranged luggage pick-up and our taxi. We relaxed at La Veranda and Cassis Bar until departure.

Absolutely Amazing Stay at Grand Park Royal Cancun! From the moment we arrived at Grand Park Royal Cancun, we were blown away by the beauty of the resort and the warmth of the staff. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with everyone going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and special. The room was spotless, modern, and had an absolutely breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from our balcony was unforgettable. The food was good. My Butler Yajahira treated me like a queen. she was truly the best. Every meal felt like a treat, and the staff made sure we always had what we needed. The pools were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of loungers and great service at the swim-up bar. The beach area was just as perfect—powdery white sand and crystal-clear water. We also loved the nightly entertainment and activities throughout the day. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy at every turn. We will absolutely be returning and highly recommend Grand Park Royal to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation in Cancun. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
