I really liked the Hotel NYX. Me and my husband stayed there for 5 days and really enjoyed the staff, food, and location. The breakfast was superb with lots of options and the staff by the people consistently kept us entertained with games, music, and activities. Everyone was very helpful and the food at all the restaurants was superb. They also made good drinks and the location right by the beach was great!

We stayed at NYX for ten days and it was hard to leave! We received amazing service, the hotel was clean and offered all we needed. We enjoyed the small hotel feeling with more Mexican character than the great hotel great chains. The hotel is small and nice. It is not a big resort so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but is nice and well kept. The food was fine, nothing remarkable but decent overall. We got a dinner at Chianti and that was the biggest disappointment. The prawns were impossible to eat as they cooked them with the shell and it just got stuck to them badly. The taste was good, but not the way they should be cooked (not even deveined). The meat was way overcooked and the risotto was way too watery. It almost looked like a rice soup. At Umami, the Japanese restaurant, they took forever to bring my roll and when I asked for a to-go box they said I would have to pay for the dish if I wanted to take it with me (we had the all inclusive plan and had not even ordered the 5 max. dishes per person). I was in a bad mood after the long wait and didn’t want to stay there anymore. At the end they spoke to a supervisor and was able to take it with me but the service and attitude were terrible. On the last day we were waiting for the pool guy to set up the loungers, he was waiting for someone to help him; my husband ended up assisting him so we could have a place to lay down next to the pool. We were told the bar service at the beach ends at 5:00 PM, we tried to order a drink around 4:50 and were told the service was no longer available. In general it feels like most employees are barely doing their job. Honorio, the bellboy was the only one with a real service attitude.

I had a very good experience here. It was my birthday and the resort really made me feel special. Once we got our rooms the next day the front desk associate David had them decorate my room! It was such a nice touch. Everyone is super friendly. Oscar the associate that helped us get the massages was the best! He greeted us everyday and was very nice. The resort and rooms are very clean. The food is good. There's a total of 2 restaurants you can book reservations for. Both were good. The food staff at the buffet especially Raul was very friendly! We liked that everyday it was a different menu for dinner. It's also safe for solo travelers my sister came for a few days and I stayed for the rest of the time by myself. Lots of things to do. They have entertainment in the lobby at night but we preferred to hit party central lots of options for dancing and etc. I would definitely stay here again!

My Mr. and I were looking for an all inclusive resort (adults only) that is affordable but clean. This had the best ratings on Expedia. It took us a couple of days to decide. I want to thank my Mr for picking this place out because I absolutely love it. The minute we set foot on the property, we've had nothing but great things to say about this place. Many resorts will cut corners for food and alcohol, but not this place. Very generous and the staff is super friendly. There's only three restaurants but high quality in food! Our room was not ready yet but the front desk already gave us our wrist bands and told us to hang out at the Deck which is an outdoor beach restaurant (bar and grill). So good! We dined in at the Italian restaurant, loved the sushi that we had to come back for hibachi at Umani. We ate breakfast every morning. Their buffet spread is no joke! They have different juices, coffee, latte, espresso. My favorite is the green juice. Super healthy! Pastry and bread section, eggs, their signature Mexican dishes, salads, fruit, cereal, and a charcuterie section! So much food. They have a schedule for different themed meals for lunch. So many food options. This boutique hotel had a lot to offer! Spa (extra, not included with inclusive package), complimentary yoga, beach photoshoot (30 minute session-2 digital pictures for free), snack bar, karaoke on certain days, live bands, games near the pool and more! My daughter and I were looking for a small resort to simply relax. NYX Cancun is smaller but has manny amenities I was looking for. Pros are the great food and restaurants; however I wished it had a lunch buffet like the breakfast. Cons would be there’s only one pool where all activities take place. Had a sunset room with a beautiful balcony, but since it was on the front of the hotel it was loud. Would I go back? Absolutely!!!

The property was very accessible to dining pool beachfront the staff was incredible we had a room the first night that was very difficult to get to since my boyfriend has trouble walking they moved us the next day to a room that fit his needs. The staff makes you feel like you're at home. The food was extremely good no matter which restaurant you went to. I was disappointed they took out one of their pools but they are putting another restaurant in so I believe they have to do what visitors or guests want

Pros: smaller size hotel, great and walkable. Friendly staff ( entertainment team Jair and Stephanie, Mateo at the Italian restaurant was great. Dining options are optimal ( buffet and ska carte). Music in the lobby every night was very nice. Cons: some rooms don’t have an elevator, while the in-room fridge includes two free Coronas per day, additional bottles on the beach are $7 each. The beach has strong waves, making it hard to swim or relax in the water. Not ideal if you’re looking for calm seas. overall, a pleasant stay with great service and atmosphere

Very nice all inclusive hotel with very friendly staff. The beach access is beautiful and the food is great too. Unfortunately, the very first morning we were there we were directed to get our cards for towels and ended up in one of those time share selling talks. That ruined the morning, but we quickly felt better when we were able to enjoy the place.

This hotel is all inclusive, however if you drink “premier” you will have to upgrade a little. They show you a list of drinks that’s included without it. Room service ends at 10pm at night. No real entertainment, except for some dancers and they did have a nice salsa band in the lobby. You do have to rent a cabana bed but there are enough chairs available and water is beautiful, if you’re looking for a nice beach. You can take a bus downtown for night life for about a 1.00 a person, 5 minute ride. It wasn’t bad. I enjoyed this hotel, I would say it’s very nice for a short trip. We stayed for a weekend. And the workers were super nice.

It’s a like family owned hotel, not big but very cozy and makes you feel home. The staff is unbelievably great, the people who served us at the bar, during the breakfast, at the restaurant, on a beach, Deck restaurant, reception and a lifeguard on a beach were fantastic! Don’t forget guys to show them your appreciation, they work in a crazy rhythm the whole day, on a sun and making our vacation amazing! The beach with a nice sand was very good, but the ocean with a clear water was even better! Breakfast…not a crazy selection but you won’t be hungry, tasty food and you can always get fresh fruits, homemade yogurt, omelets and etc. Alcohol…was happy with a selection. Not only local which was a pretty good quality, but also nice American/european brands. Umami restaurant with a fresh seafood was unbelievable! We didn’t get a chance to try hibachi, but every evening we ate sashimi, sushi and fresh seafood Chianti wasn’t very good, but the place itself was very nice and overall we were satisfied with that place Would I come back there again?🤔 YES!
