the food and staff were ok the staff at the pool that gives towels was not nice at all the room wasn't so good the AC made a lot of noise the window in the room could not be opened so the room was very stuffy the pool was tiny the hotel is very outdated, and the bar is tiny would not recommend it for a family vacation I will not go to this hotel again

This was my 2nd stay at the resort and I have to say it was above average once again. It’s a smaller venue that really focuses on making everything convenient for the guest and the staff in my opinion make there number one priority to see to it that guests want for nothing and it’s very refreshing as you some larger resorts do not. While not perfect this is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet and safe experience with above average food and customer service. I will continue to visit this establishment.

Overall staff were excellent! The only disappointing thing was we went downstairs to take the atelier presentation and we were declined because no one was left. I thought it was very unfair. I want to come back and recommend friends and family but this did leave a bitter taste.

Our stay at Óleo Cancun was absolutely amazing for the six days we spent there! First time at Cancun and it was beautiful. 2 days was very cold and we didn’t get much sun. Hey Mother Nature can be tricky. From the moment we arrived, Enrique was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed about the hotel. A special thank you to the wonderful staff who made our experience unforgettable. Though I don’t remember his name, my boyfriend and a staff member worked together to plan a surprise birthday dinner for me at Hakka, the sushi restaurant. It was executed beautifully—thank you so much! The food throughout our stay was FANTASTIC! On our last day, my stomach was a bit upset, likely due to the water, and a lovely woman named Liana made me a comforting cup of chamomile tea with lemon and honey. She is an absolute gem—God bless her! Erendina was always so kind and attentive, checking in on us with a warm smile. At the beach and pool, Roberto was phenomenal, making sure we had everything we needed, from food to perfectly crafted drinks. I will definitely tell my friends and family to look for him—his hospitality was top-notch! The only downside of our stay was the lack of nightlife. After 9:30 PM, the resort became quite dull with no entertainment, which was disappointing. Even though it’s a small, family-friendly resort, having more evening activities would make a big difference. We had to leave the property just to find something fun to do at night.

The staff were amazing. Everyone was prepared to assist regardless of their position. The buffet and Mediterranean restaurant were our preferred locations. Hakka and the poolside grill were not very enjoyable. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. My wife raved about the hot stone massage. We had a wonderful time.

The resort is on the smaller side, close to the airport, further from the night life area and the city but perfect for families and older couples that aren’t interested in those things. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was amazing in all aspects.

The transportation service was pretty unabiding. I had to change my flights and they refused to change the pickup and drop off times from the airport even with a few days of notice. The hotel seems to be a time share, so there will be people that come up to you with "great deals" for only an hour of your time. I did not appreciate being approached a few times during my trip. If I want to do an excursion, I'll find the opportunities myself. The location is great. Views are amazing. The food options are pretty good, though limited. I must say that the drip coffee was lacking during breakfast time, but the coffee bar was great.

As an all-inclusive resort, Oleo Cancun Playa exceeded expectations in many ways. A seven-night stay flew by, thanks to the serene atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. However, the dining experience was a mixed bag. While there is a wide selection of food at both the buffet and restaurants, much of it felt uninspired—some dishes tasted stale, bland, or simply past their prime. That said, with careful selection, it was possible to enjoy a satisfying meal. The resort’s amenities are solid, though not without minor drawbacks. The gym is well-equipped but can become crowded during peak hours. The spa, while slightly dated, delivers excellent services—especially the massages, which are a standout feature. Beyond the resort, strolling along the beach is a must, offering a peaceful way to unwind in the afternoons. Overall, Oleo Cancun Playa is a great choice for travelers seeking a relaxing service-oriented stay in Cancun. While the food could use improvement, the stunning location, excellent service, and comfortable atmosphere make it well worth considering. Highly recommended.
