The concierge service feels like you’re asking for favors, instead of having a “personal butler”. Having gone to other resorts with butler service, this place lacks. The concierge/butler is extremely limited. He never recommended certain areas for my kids, and never mentioned that there was a star class area for snacks in the building next to us. The room service options are ridiculously limited, too. There were tons of other food options outside of room service, but for some reason, those weren’t available during breakfast and lunch options.
The room was always extremely humid and we had a dehumidifier that I needed to personally dump out every 3-4 hours. There’s a very good chance the room was moldy, as my 2 toddlers started showing symptoms of allergies to mold on the 2nd day and the rest of the trip. This is my first and last time here at this resort, because of that reason alone.
The food was mostly pretty good, except and ironically, the Mexican restaurant. Though this is an all-inclusive resort, expect to pay tips for everything- which defeats the purpose of an all-inclusive resort.
