Overall great experience and property, the one major con for me was handling of music at the pools. Having one speaker in a rolling cabinet for 3 plus pools is malpractice of entertainment.

They lied to us about the beach and seaweed. We called in advanced and asked specifically on how bad it was and we kept checking in and asking is the seaweed bad and they lied to us time after time and we felt betrayed and will not be going back to secret again.

I recently stayed at Secrets The Vine Cancun and had an absolutely amazing experience! The food was exceptional—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From gourmet restaurants to casual bites, there was something to satisfy every craving. The drinks were just as impressive. From perfectly crafted cocktails to top-shelf liquor and wine, everything was high quality and generously served. The bartenders were friendly and always willing to make something special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Everyone, from the front desk to the servers and entertainment crew, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Overall, this was one of the best vacation experiences I’ve ever had. If you're looking for a luxurious, all-inclusive resort with amazing food, drinks, and hospitality, Secrets The Vine Cancun is the place to be!

Air conditioning was not working in our room and in the resort. Butler for room was not responsive. Breakfast area was over crowded. Pool areas were over crowded. All of the lounge chairs had towels on them with no actual people sitting there. The preferred pool was even worst. Room service did not knock on door, they just walked in.

The entertainment truly stood out, especially thanks to Johnathan, the entertainer, and the bartender, who I believe also went by the name Johnathan. The entertainer was exceptionally engaging, making our stay particularly enjoyable with fun water activities, crafting bracelets by the pool, and even hosting a delightful lunch with a chef. The bartender, stationed in the lively piano bar, was equally impressive. He was attentive and made sure we had a memorable time, serving up the best drinks and shots while we enjoyed live entertainment and DJs. The only downside was the long wait times at the restaurants, even with reservations. However, this minor hiccup did not overshadow the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to have an incredible time!

They have a problem with the air conditioning unit as you get to the higher floors. STRONGLY SUGGEST LOWER FLOORS TO ENSURE AIR CONDITIONING. Also, food was served cold at the Italian restaurant and the bar and grill although food was really good!

Market cafe and Sea Salt - Peruvian is awesome must try. Friendly staff, dont forget your tips some staff make faces. Lots of marketing strategies and offers. Hit the gym on the 12 Th floor facing the ocean really wonderful. Check your air conditioner as soon as you get there.

I honestly rounded up, as this is at best a 2.5 rating for a 5 star hotel. Upon entrance, the hotel smelled like a fragrance masking a moldy scent. The balcony area outside of the room lacked privacy; there was no concrete wall divider between each room. Housekeeping used our same linens each night - we know because the same stain was on our comforter and bed sheets. The restaurant wait times were long for dinner (Sea Salt restaurant). The cups/glasses used to serve drinks were often times dirty and cracked/chipped. The onsite souvenir shop/store was inconsistent with payment methods - one day I charged everything to the room and the next day they told me that they do not take room charges because the hotel is separate from the store. The day time entertainment should have more pool activities (pool parties, volleyball games, karaoke, etc.). Probably should update the hotel, as the building was a bit old and so were the computer systems used. The staff were amazing - shout out to Jared (concierge)!
