We had two separate rooms. The first room smelled like varnish or paint because they were doing updates. Our second room was wonderful with a great view of the ocean except we couldn’t get service for our mini bar trying to get soft drinks or extra towels for the beach were nonexistent. We had a cabana Five days while we were there. The last day we paid for was not relaxing whatsoever because they were rocking the wall with a lot of banging on rocks, I asked to get our money back for the one night, but they said that they would not do that. We will not be going back there.

We just returned from a week at Oasis and we (2 adults and 3 kids - 12 and 2 17 year olds) had the Pyramid package (HIGHLY recommend this for anyone going there). Look into it but you get upgraded rooms and access to most restaurants, buffets and bars. We had an ocean front room and it was totally fine. No ants, damp smell or plumbing issues like other reviews I read prior to going. Small room fridge refilled daily, AC was great and room cleaned daily and comfortable beds. The grounds are well manicured. party pool with a loud club on the beach that has a lot of HS and college kids partying. Further down is a nice area with tons of chairs and they have nice cushions on them (get there in the morning if you want a spot all day). Towels are available and can be exchanged daily. Another pool further down is quiet and great for families as there is a shallow area. Beach is really nice and water is beautiful. Not much seaweed and they do clean the beach every morning. There are not many lounge chairs on the beach but you can rent cabanas which are really nice 75-125 dollars per day). We did the family cabana on the beach one day and it had a beach bed and several beach chairs with full service where you can get drinks and food (all included). The buffets are ok. We ate breakfast at the Pyramid buffet (Marketplace) daily and it was nice. Fresh Fruit, omelets, pancakes and tons of other stuff. If you have Pyram

The hotel was ok and clean. They definitely need to improve the reservations for the restaurants for dinner. It’s impossible to have one and the buffet options are not the best, they had huge lines to go in. The drinks are not the best either, very basic and cheap liquor. I couldn’t get extra towels in the morning, the housekeeping said I had to wait for the room service to come. No umbrellas at the beach or chairs to seat.

Our passports were stolen at the hotel, security didn’t give us any information about videos from the camera, staff didn’t give us any details about what was happening during the investigation. Never experienced such incompetence about communication between staff, security guards to give us any updates. Nightmare when our personal belongings are stolen and there is no help from the hotel staff to show footage of cameras, they just said if anything we will call, still waiting for that call to happen to hear updates.

The number of restaurants and food options is incredible and the ones we ate at were all fabulous service and food; we went to the Serape, the Dos Lunas, The White Box, Cantina, Marketplace were all wonderful. I liked that The Pyramid was in close proximity to the Maya Museum of Cancun so we walked there. Then we took the city bus to Isla Mall for 12 pesos each person.

La limpieza es muy mala. Tanto de baños cercanos a las albercas como de las recámaras. Pides ayuda y te dicen que lo harán pero no dan ninguna solución. Las cenas son muy buenas en los restaurantes.

Es un hotel que ofrece precios bajos para enganchar al cliente, luego vemos opciones de comida o restaurantes que están dentro del hotel que no están incluidos. Al mezclar en un mismo hotel 3 diferentes categorias de huespedes hacen que los snacks y comidas incluidas para todos sean de mala calidad. Fuimos a la categoría Pirámide y teníamos que validar que el restaurante donde se coma sea de esa categoría para que los alimentos sean buenos, a pesar de eso nos pasó en la primer cena en restaurante Bahia Steak House, que reservamos a las 9 pm, y como los cortes se habían acabado, literalmente sirvieron dos cortes cocinados por fuera pero CONGELADOS por dentro. El capitán trato de disculparse por tomar cortes de la nevera y tratar de cocinarlos sin adobar... Otras cenas en restaurantes Dos Lunas y Careyes si fueron buenas... El trato del personal de bares y restaurantes generales fue malo, como si estuvieran obligados a realizar el trabajo. En la salida, no permitieron ingresar el Uber que solicitamosnpara nuestro traslado... lo curioso es que en la llegada si nos dejaron ingresar en uber... claro había que dejar ingresarnos para cobrar el hospedaje y tratar de vendernos una acción de time share... muy mal visto. La playa es de las menos bonitas de la zona hotelera... hay que trasladarse para encontrar una mejor zona. Las habitaciones si estaban bien y con limpieza diaria y relleno del la refrigeradora... claro en categoria Piramide....
