“You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!”

“We chose to stay in a more rural area to get away this year. It was definitely rural. There are just a few places by the house but we didn’t see anyone. There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed. ”

“The owners definitely undersell this place in their listing - it was perfect for what we needed! A quiet location at the end of a private drive, surrounded by the woods, was a great location for a relaxing trip away from the city. Charlie and Audrey also provided great tips on where to rent a boat for the Lake, as well as a list of nearby bait shops, stores and places to grab some grub. We’d definitely be willing to stay here again! ”

“Read reviews and did not see any comments about a train that is literally feet behind the house. VERY LOUD. I did enjoy all the graffiti. Like a traveling art show. “This house was just as advertised. It is beautiful. There is plenty of room, lots of places to sit and relax, and the long dining table is great! We gathered there regularly.Theresa is amazingly quick to answer any questions or provide information and very pleasant to communicate with.
