“We stayed in the Bootlegger cabin, which was somewhat detached and nicely secluded from the other cabins. The place was immaculate, and had all of your household needs- everything was in top shape and perfect working order. The area around the unit was genuinely perfect. The only thing here that needs to be made clear to other visitors is that there is a highway nearby. When it’s quiet, it’s very quiet, but at the busier points in the day it can be a little noisy. “The Bunk House is very quaint and peaceful…just what we wanted. It has everything we needed. It’s not far from town. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. There’s a little path that you can walk down to the river too. Highly recommend staying at the Bunk House if you are in Cañon City. Loved chatting with Shari, she is so sweet.”

“In two words... "jaw dropping." The online photos (sorry VRBO) did not begin to do it justice. This circa 1951 property was remodeled recently with numerous high-end touches. All rooms were spacious and well appointed. The main bath had a huge walk-in shower with 4 showering options and 4 correlating faucet handles. Additionally, it had a large, free standing tub and dual sinks. The large kitchen was outfitted with plentiful, beautiful cabinetry, granite counters and modern appliances. The……
