Stunning
"Stunning location and lovely comfy property. Owners very welcoming. Some lovely walks right from the front door. Lots of wildlife and we were lucky to get the northern lights while we were there. Would love to return some day, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all,"

Quiet, relaxing stay
"We stayed during the Easter holidays with our two children. Thankfully we had gorgeous weather so went on plenty of walks and bbq’d most evenings. A gorgeous, clean, quiet cottage"

"Tired looking exterior.Built in 1970’s I reckon.Very friendly,helpful,hardworking staff.room was clean,spacious and had everything you would expect.Had a decent bar and hot food available ,of a reasonable quality and at good price.A real bargain.i would certainly use again when in Carlisle."
