Snuggled into Canones, this lovely, comfortable home welcomed us to a quiet setting away from the bustle of Abiquiu tourists. Our host thought of every need and has made their casita a perfect getaway for us.”

“Staying at this property is a unique adventure. After a few days we settled in, but there is more the hosts need to disclose before people book. "43 acre private property" does not suggest there are many houses next to one another, which there are. We thought we'd be all alone, and there was a house a few yards from us. You don't learn about the wildlife - stray dogs, roaming cattle, bear, etc. until you read the check-in book. They should disclose this before people book, not after you are……

“The view from this property outweighs any minor inconveniences. It is the most spectacular vista right outside your doorstep. The kitchen worked well, but I do suggest bringing some salt despite a full array of other spices and seasonings. The outdoor shower looked fun and adventurous; however, it did not work. So, the large bathtub had to do! Overall, this was an amazing stay. Highly recommend if you want to connect with nature and be in absolute solitude.”

“Amazing place to vacation if you want to get away from cities! There were some hiccups at check-in but the owner was very communicative and we were able to resolve the issue. The location is quite remote so you need to cook all your meals, but the kitchen is really well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. Be aware that the fireplace is the only heating source of the house. We visited in mid-October so it was not an issue, especially with the thick comforter and extra blankets they……
