“From the moment we turned in to a well maintained gravel driveway my blood pressure dropped as we drove up to Chaffcutter cottage, and when we met the owners who welcomed us warmly and who had prepared everything for our enjoyment, we knew we were in for a relaxing, care-free break. The magnificent old Peppercorn tree shading the front garden and the lush green lawns surrounding the cottage provided the ideal areas for our Cavoodle to chase the ball - and the birds. Then, sitting on the verandah……

“My son and I stayed for a couple of nights while at a MTB event. The property is exactly as described. Comfortable and spacious. The only problem is it was extremely hard to find. GPS took us to a housing estate on the other side of the rail tracks. There was no phone number to call for help. We eventually got there by a door to door search in the dark. Some simple directions In the checkin app would be great idea.”
