“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“The villa is amazing. Well designed, beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle. Plenty of space to lounge outside and enjoy the pool and wonderful breakfasts and dinners, plenty of bedrooms for our family's 4 groups (11 people). Terrific view to see waves crash on the rocks. But most of all, Sonia and her staff were incredible. So helpful, always pleasant, so efficient and professional, and wonderful, I mean wonderful cooks. The nearby beaches are fantastic...Playa Carrillo for lounging……

Elieth and Gerado are amazing hosts, they take care of the place with immense pride. “This is a great property for the price. Overall I recommend this rental and would rent again. We were in an upstairs unit of a four Plex (3). No real negatives but a few FYIs. Host was super responsive. Pool is a definite plus. Good-size, super clean, there were lounge chairs but they needed padding, two large tables and chairs for all guests. Overall beautiful pool area. “The property had everything we needed- nice pool which was kept clean, 3 bedrooms with AC , kitchen, living area. Lots of towels and good poolside lounges. There were beach chairs to take with you to the beaches. The location was just a few minutes drive to Carrillo beach. The housekeeping folks were wonderful. The bathrooms were very functional but a bit dated. You should have a 4 wheel drive since the road up is a bit steep but we find a 4 wheel drive the best option in any case for Costa ……
