“Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. “Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that……

“This is a great property for the price. Overall I recommend this rental and would rent again. We were in an upstairs unit of a four Plex (3). No real negatives but a few FYIs. Host was super responsive. Pool is a definite plus. Good-size, super clean, there were lounge chairs but they needed padding, two large tables and chairs for all guests. Overall beautiful pool area. Loved it and used it a lot. And most guests go to the beach so I was often there by myself. Beautiful view from upper and……

“The property had everything we needed- nice pool which was kept clean, 3 bedrooms with AC , kitchen, living area. Lots of towels and good poolside lounges. There were beach chairs to take with you to the beaches. The location was just a few minutes drive to Carrillo beach. The housekeeping folks were wonderful. The bathrooms were very functional but a bit dated. You should have a 4 wheel drive since the road up is a bit steep but we find a 4 wheel drive the best option in any case for Costa ……
