“We had a lovely stay! Michael and Winnie were lovely and attentive hosts. They made great suggestions for a nice hike on their beautiful property, and to a wonderful distillery and restaurant for a great dinner! We spent our first day exploring Beddeck, and our second with an incredible drive around the Cabot Trail. ”

“Very nice cabin in secluded location in the woods, with a lake access. The cabin is in new condition, has very well equipped kitchen and is nicely decorated. Kayaks were available to use by the guests. The property manager was easy and fast to reach when we had some questions. Overall a very good experience.”

“Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!”

“The cottage is secluded with plenty of wildlife and amazing scenery. We were visited by fox, deer and hummingbirds!The kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.The short walk to the shore leads to a rocky beach with lovely views and awe inspiring sunsets.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Make sure to stop for provisions on the way to the cottage as the nearest grocery……

“Oh did we love this spot! Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Kayaking. Nice spot on the dock to enjoy a coffee. Hot tub (which we used multiple times). Not to mention the family cottage vibes that reminded me of our old Northern Ontario family camp that I spent summers at as a child. I would love to return with family one day and enjoy some more time there. The location is wonderful. The space was very clean and the beds were so comfy! Thank you to the hosts for offering such a stunning spot.”

“This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside.”

“Mentioned some maintenance observations and was told these were in the listing. But not when I booked. One shower not working, no laundry. There were 2 other showers though. Otherwise the place offered many sitting areas inside and out. There were helpful tips about fire regulations.View of lake may be an overstatement. Yes, could see a bit. No direct access.Highlight was seeing a fox trot across the lawn at twilight.”

“This is a lovely apartment right in the heart of Baddeck. It was very comfortable and well set up, and the host, Courtney was great. It was just a few minutes walk to a number of great restaurants. I'd like to especially call out Tom's Pizza - the pizza is amazing, and so is the value. It's just a minute up the street. We were lucky enough to be in Baddeck for the Prom Parade, Canada Day, and Kitchenfest - and heard some amazing musid. Baddeck is perfectly located to get to almost everything on……

“Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage.”
