I do not recommend this property, my daughter and I arrived early evening and to check in they unlocked the door and locked it behind you. This did not give you a feeling of a security. Then we needed to park our rental and a man from inside insisted that he wanted to drive us in our vehicle to the parking lot, we let him in the car but not drive. Highly unusual! Then once inside the room there was no air conditioning or fan blowing, we brought this to their attention and the said give it one hour. We contacted them again, they sent someone and said it was broken. They then called our room and offered to change rooms, we did and the second rooms air conditioning wasn’t working, but the blower worked. At this time it was late in the evening and we had no choice but to stay the night. The rooms were not clean, there was dirt and oil on the headboard and large metallic spangles in the shower. We left early the next morning and after our excursion found another hotel in a safe area and called Expedia to help get a refund. I spoke with the hotel about the refund and they said I had to go through Expedia, and Expedia originally offered a $50 credit and I insisted on getting half of what we paid back. Ultimately, we received half of the money back, The original stay was $360 for two days, at what was called a Luxury Spa Hotel. No pool in site when we arrived and I would not consider the area safe, overall it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and highly overpriced.
