“The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early”

“Sometimes you come across a place that deserves 6 stars and this is one of those places. Incredible location with an incredible host, thanks Gillian and family for looking after us for our two week stay. We already miss this cottage and can't wait to get back. Deer in the garden (if your up early enough), horse's to feed and birds to listen to. Relax infront of the fire with a book or make use of the strong wifi in every room. Kitchen very well equipped with everything you might need. A true……

“Upon arrival the bedroom smelled of heating oil. We tried opening the window, but was simply too cold. We had to leave the property. We were only there a few hours. We contacted both the property manager and VRBO. We offered to pay for the 1st night and requested a refund for the rest. We contacted the property manager several times but never received a response. Neither helped us and we lost our money. It was a horrible experience:(”

“We had a great stay at Nephin View. The house is comfortable and clean. It had plenty of room for the 5 adults in our group. It is located in a scenic location with nice views out the windows and even sheep grazing quietly in the front yard. The owner was flexible with our check-in time and responsive to the questions we sent to him by text. We made use of the house's large and well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend staying here when in County Mayo.”

“We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever.
