Beautiful, LAKEFRONT Home at Lake of Egypt! Private dock, boat house and Beach!

Come relax and unwind in our Lakefront home at the beautiful Lake of Egypt! Our Lakehouse on Tracy has it all, starting with AMAZING Lake views from all rooms! Access to the lake with its Private boat dock(Pontoon Boat and/or kayaks available*), our attached boat house that has electricity is one of our favorite places! It is the perfect spot for fishing, hanging out under the covered deck, or sitting to enjoy the sites and sounds of Lake life and watching the sunrises and sunsets. Fun for adults and children alike on the sand beach whether you are laying out, reading a book, taking a nap, or playing in the sand. We have a low slope lot, directly to the water! Inside you can enjoy This Professionally decorated Home that has all the comforts of "home" with views of the lake No matter where you look!! It is a Beautiful home that has an Open Floor plan to include spacious Livingroom, with plenty of room for everyone! Dining area and fully equipped kitchen that has all you could need for all your cooking, Baking, and Boating needs. Including a coffee maker and a coffee beans grinder. New appliances including a dishwasher and seating at the island to keep the chef company.
Upper and lower Living rooms have decks to enjoy the lakefront and lake views or sit on the deck on the boathouse where you won't get a better view while enjoying a beverage and fishing.

Master bedroom with a Queen Bed and Private bathroom. Main floor 1/2 bath with laundry. Second bedroom with Bunk beds and a queen bed. The bunk area is located off the second living area with a Twin size bed that has USB outlets on the Headboard for its occupant and a queen-size futon. The lower Level Bathroom has Double sinks that have plenty of room to share. All our beds and bedding are protected with mattress protection.

Bring your favorite movies and enjoy them on the Flat screen TVs with the provided DVD Player or enjoy the cable by Dish network.
Full-size Washer and Dryer. WIFI/Dish network - 2 decks (upper and lower) Charcoal Grill. Firepit on the beach (firewood available*) Pontoon and kayaks available*)

If you need a highchair and pack-n-play, please let us know and we will gladly make these available for your stay.

All you need to bring are your toiletries, food, and beach towels to relax and enjoy!

Family Get-a-Way
When we arrived the house was clean and just as it was shown in the pictures. Although the house looks small when you pull up there is adequate room. There were 6 of us that stayed and our daughter and son-in-law visited. The kitchen had everything you need and the linens that are provided are nice. We also rented the pontoon boat which was so nice for the day. The views and fishing off of the dock was nice as well. We live close but just wanted a quick get-a-way and this was perfect.

Very cute house and nice area to stay in. Enjoyed the lake and the dock my husband caught a 4 pound bass on a fly rod. He was extremely happy love that it was dog, friendly and easy for my old dog to walk the property overall a very pleasant experience.

As my son said when I sent him a photo from the deck, “Speaking as a lake scientist, I can say with certainty that (that) is a very pretty lake.” He’s right. Nice lake with a nice lake home. Location is great for hitting the area hiking highlights. Saw eagles flying over the lake - friendly neighbors - good place to stay. Thanks!

Family gathering
Chose this property for its proximity to Ferne Clyffe, State Park . Lots of trails explored. Our grandchildren,six and eight, really loved the sand in the front of the house they even caught a little perch off the pier.

Relaxing
Super cute lakeside. The house is exactly as pictured. I think it had the best view of the lake. My husband and I needed a quick getaway from the city, and this was perfect. Very peaceful and relaxing just staring out into what nature has to offer. Of course we went a week before a holiday weekend. Our furbabies also loved it.

Needs major improvement
The ONLY reasons why this isn’t a 1 star review is because they didn’t charge us anymore walking out the door. Biggest problem was the beds. They needed replaced a year ago or so. Very low quality to begin with. We ended up leaving a day early because we couldn’t take another night of it. From there its a laundry list of issues. The boat and kayaks were unavailable, I assume to be winterized. Understandable but no mention of it from the owners. The cleaning list was too extensive to get accomplished by a 1030 checkout time. A later checkin would have been better. The “quality” vacuums were not good or new. Still completely dirty from the last use. The first step on the stairs should be fixed or a sign installed to “Watch your step”. There is an extra 2 inches you don’t expect. The insulation in the kitchen window was done by a child. The floors are uneven. The bathroom sinks upstairs are made for people over 6 feet. The basement is made for people under 5’10”. The refrigerator needs replaced. The freezer took 3 full days to refreeze ice cream from the store. Their is rust in the freezer. The freezer doesn’t make it’s own ice. Ice cubes trays should be thrown away. The firewood left outside for our use was pointless and had been sitting there well over a year. The firepit and grill we filthy and not my job to clean. The only supplies left to us was 2 trash bags, one roll of paper towels, and salt. No spices whatsoever? The garbage disposal needed replaced. The toilet paper and hand soap is more than worthless. “Welcome to our house, enjoy our 1-ply toilet paper and watered down soap!!” We went out and bought both. I would guess that ever stick of furniture came from goodwill and the value of all the furniture in the house was $200 at most. The basement furniture was basically worthless wooden crates. The tv in the basement was useless. Was connected to a DVD player and that’s it. Fuzzie static. The listed could have mentioned to bring some DVD’s. We had a power outage the first day we were there. I sent a message to the owner and there was no response. The power came back in45 minutes.My wife thinks the neighbor still had power and the owners didn’t pay the bill. Is this the same rental price during the height of lake season? We were flexible, so we chose Sunday to Thursday to avoid higher fees during the weekend. This place wasn’t worth the price we paid. If it was $80 cheaper per day we might have been content.
