“What a beautiful place. Everything you need is provided in apartment. So near the center and all shops. Sat outside on balcony watching all the wildlife (Ducks,Heron etc). The hosts are so welcoming and contact is swift. highly recommended.”

“My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O.……

“Good stop over high street doesnt have much traffic or walk traffic nice coffee shops near by for breakfast Bed comfy shower good access to get into property easy just remember the code ”

“Lovely property 5 mins walk into Newport centre . Beautiful garden , private and closed in for dogs. Parking and all amenities. Hot tub , great for a getaway. We were a couple and two dogs. Plenty of room for us. Could do with a hairdryer 😉🙌”

“A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”
